    We are seeking a senior level software test engineer who wants to be part of a team that is helping to provide solutions to our nation’s defense.

    Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Author complex test plans for verification of software requirements.
    • Management of requirement to test traceability
    • Create test scripts and interface software
    • Perform both manual and automated testing
    • Produce detailed test reports
    • Engage with development teams and program management to coordinate on schedule, investigate issues and to provide status reports
    • Conduct and participate in peer reviews for requirements, test plans, related artifacts and test software
    • Create software test tools as needed for the test environment

    Qualifications

    Mandatory Job Qualifications:

    Applicants must have all of the following to be considered for this position:

    • BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline with equivalent experience.
    • 5 to 10 years of experience in software development or software test
    • Must be able to obtain USA Active DOD Secret Clearance
    • Travel not to exceed 20%. Must be willing and able to travel.

     

     

    Highly Desired Job Qualifications:

    • Active DOD SECRET or DHS/BI Clearance ( must be able to be cleared by DHS)
    • Demonstrated experience with C/C++
    • C# experience with Microsoft Visual Studio
    • Familiarity with object oriented concepts and the unified modeling language (UML) are desired
    • A demonstrated basic understanding of network communication protocols and concepts including, TCP/IP, UDP, FTP, routing, ports and sockets
    • Experience with VxWorks and/or Linux is highly desirable
    • Experience with continuous integration and automation servers
    • Proficiency with National Instruments TestStand or similar test executive software
    • Experience with avionics protocols ( MIL-STD-1553, ARINC 429)
    • Experience interfacing with lab instruments for control and data acquisition
    • Previous use of IBM Rational DOORS
