    The HR Assistant is responsible for the day to day administrative support of the Human Resources function. This position will support the Human Resources team in the following areas: Human Resources Information System (HRIS) database management, recruitment, training & development and other duties as assigned. 



    • Assist with conducting new hire orientation/on-boarding
    • Create and maintain employee personnel files
    • Assist with Salary Action Approval Forms
    • Open job requisition in recruitment database
    • Pull reports to analyze data and identify employee trends
    • Assist with scheduling candidate interviews
    • Prepare expense reports for Director, Human Resources
    • Check PO end dates of contractors monthly and update Ceridian with new end dates
    • Process invoices, bonus requests, and patent awards
    • Coordinate with vendors for employee events and programs
    • Other duties as assigned



    • High School Diploma
    • 0-2 years of related experience
    • Ability to work independently and pro-actively follow-up on plans/projects effectively
    • Strong prioritization skills along with the ability to multi-task
    • Strong attention to detail
    • Ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite required (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
