The KC-2 Modernization Material Program Manager (MPM) is a strong leader with demonstrated project management skills. This individual will be involved in the leadership of the Integrated Program Team (IPT), and will be accountable for ensuring overall supplier performance, including compliance to the Contract Statement of Work (SSOW) and/or technical data package, on time and under cost material deliveries, and developing smart metrics to accurately measure and predict supplier performance.
The MPM’s primary role is to support effective and efficient Supply Chain Management (SCM) by developing and participating in program and enterprise level supply chain strategies and plans, and ensures the placement and receipt of material requirements to those strategies and plans are in support of program requirements. This individual is the liaison between the program office, engineering, operations and the supply chain organization in ensuring that the program requirements are being met and program business objectives are achieved.
As an integral member of the team, this MPM will have daily involvement with Program and Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Quality, Contracts and Finance.
The ideal candidate will be a success oriented, self-motivated project leader who can drive a cross-functional team to meet the demands of a dynamic and evolving program. U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will need a U.S. Security Clearance within 1 year of start date.
Reports directly to the KC-2 Modernization Program Director.
