  • Overview

    The Events Manager is responsible for planning, managing, and executing the exposition and events program for Elbit Systems of America (ESA). Frequent travel is a requirement of the position.


    • Plan, organize, coordinate, manage and execute company participation at industry conferences, tradeshows and symposiums as well as internal events
    • For each conference, show, symposium or event, this person will manage:
      • All event logistics planning and execution
      • Selection and booking of space
      • Booth layout and design
      • Shipment of products
      • Coordination of product demonstrations
      • Onsite supervision
      • Event sponsorships
      • Attendee registration and support (hotel reservations, badge pick-up, pre-show meetings, etc)
      • Conduct planning calls w/all stakeholders (BUs, Marketing, Comms, etc)
    • Manage ESA’s branding messages and tradeshow themes
    • Analytics/metrics review and reporting
    • Other duties as assigned by supervisor









    Education (Highest Level Required/Preferred):

    Bachelor degree required or 5-10 years functional experience may substitute.

    Specific Degree Field: Preferred: Business/Communications/Marketing, Public Relations


    Experience Required:

    Functional (Using Skill Set): 3-5 years

    Industry: 3-5 years


    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required (Unique and Measurable):

    • Up to 50% travel required
    • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
    • Strong influencing skills, ability to convey ideas to all levels of personnel
    • Strong work ethic, initiative and commitment to developing quality products
    • Ability to determine priorities and meet deadlines
    • Ability to work confidently and professionally with a variety of personality types
