  • Overview

    The IT Site Lead position has overall responsibility for the IT department at their location. Responsibilities include, but not limited to leading the IT staff and supporting the PCs, printers, applications, VoIP, and network. In addition to leading the IT staff, this position is hands on, actively working on outages, incidents and projects. Works with company management team to define priorities and projects that support the overall business plan and objectives. As time permits, this position may also be part of a virtual Shared Services hands-on administration team.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Responsible for IT support of the applications, PCs, VoIP and network environment. Monitors, evaluates, and corrects outages to the IT environment.
    • Works very close with Shared Services teams.
    • Participate in development of a business case and project plan for new technology projects.
    • Ensures timely project completion and customer satisfaction.
    • Communicates priorities, status, issues, and recommendations on a timely basis.
    • Develops and documents local IT procedures.
    • Off-shift and on-call support is required
    • Adhere to all IT policies and procedures.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    • Provide lead/senior level technical skills
    • Employee Onboarding and Offboarding
    • Identifies, researches and resolves complex technical problems; remains aware of reoccurring problems and suggests solutions; Escalate issues to Tier III Support in a timely fashion if required
    • Monitors inventory on a weekly basis and replenishes as needed; reports inventory to the IT Leadership Team; Tracks age of equipment and determine when refreshes are due
    • Assigns tasks to staff according to their skills
    • Updates IT Leadership of potential SLA breaches
    • Receiving, Tracking and Triage of incidents & request
    • Occasional travel to other ESA offices as necessary

     

    Qualifications

    Education:

    Bachelor preferred or 5-10 years functional experience may subsititute. High School diploma required.

     

    Experience Required:

    Functional (Using Skill Set): 3-5 years

    Industry: 3-5 years

    • Experience with providing direction and guidance to a small IT staff, including vendors and consultants.
    • High level of hands on competency with Windows desktop hardware and software, printer support, manufacturing shop floor systems and some Cisco network equipment.
    • Demonstrate a history of providing exceptional customer service
    • Desktop, Laptop imaging and setup for Windows
    • Ability to Evaluate and Recommend changes to existing process and procedures
    • Valid Driver’s license
