    Responsibilities

    • Quoting and estimating of new jobs and creating and managing new planning and processes

    • Create planning documents including tooling, fixtures, programs, in process inspection sheets, etc.

    • Work with Supply Chain Management to order material, processing through purchasing

    • Provide Management Decision Information Concerning Manufacturing Costs

    • Provide Information And Recommend Improvements Concerning Manufacturing Capabilities, Product Design And Tooling

    • Evaluates manufacturing processes by applying knowledge of product design, fabrication, assembly, tooling, and materials; conferring with equipment vendors; soliciting observations from operators.

    • Provides manufacturing decision-making information by calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements.

    • Prepares product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

    • Provides manufacturing engineering information by answering questions and requests.

    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

    • Strong knowledge of Machining Disciplines: Turning, Milling, 5 Axis Mill-Turn, Grinding,
    • Honing, etc.
    • Strong Blue Print reading skills, Interpretation of Drawings, GD&T
    • Knowledge of creating of work orders, sketches for various production
    • Experience with team collaboration with CAD Programmer… troubleshooting with shop floor employees
    • Some travel required as needed – to various customer(s) or training(s) or supplier(s)
    • Knowledge of Solid Works and CATIA
    • Experience with Prototypes, serial manufacturing, tool / fixture design
    • Detailed experience and know how in order processing with integrated processes
    • Experience with ISO 9000 / AS 9100 requirements
    • Experience with Kaizen, 5S, Continuous Improvement and Lean Enterprise practices
    • Strong organizational, analytical and communication skills, ability to work in a team environment
    • US Persons - ITAR Controls applicable
    • Hardware Specifications, Manufacturing Methods and Procedures, Manufacturing Quality,
    • Poduct Development, Presenting Technical Information, CAD, CAD/CAM Circuit Design
    • Proficient with Windows operating systems and Microsoft Office programs
    • Knowledge of creating of work orders, sketches for various production
    • Experience with Prototypes, serial manufacturing, tool / fixture design

     

    Qualifications

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
    • 3+ Years Functional Experience
    • Must have experience with manual machine tools

     

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • 5+ Years of Experience
    • Project Manager experience a huge plus
