This occupation requires the performance of diagnostics related to hardware, software, component(s), design produced, internal or external failure during test function. Complete operational checkout, disassembly repair for troubleshooting purposes, reassemble, test alignment and correction of trouble in modified, new and production electronic systems, line replaceable units (LRU’s), shop replaceable units (SRUs) and other electronic end items.

KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITY REQUIRED
Must have an associate degree in electronics technology and/or DD214 Military technical electronic training with background preference and/or certification through International Society of Certified Electronic Technician (ISCET).
