Overview

The Brazilian Navy Production Planner/Analyst will report to the Brazilian Navy Program Director. The candidate will work with managers and their teams to provide data entry, data analysis and report generation activities as part of the overall production planning. The Planner/Analyst will be required to conduct planning and control sessions and engage in larger meetings in a very active and facilitator role. The project analyst will provide support in a production office setting, performing routine functions, such as drafting and sending correspondences, understanding project management office processes and models, and maintaining office documents and material. Planner/Analyst may be asked to provide support and assistance in the tools, software, and applications used by the Program Management Office. The Planner/Analyst will also work with Program Planning and Control (PP&C) on the use of Oracle and COBRA.

Engineering degree required, IE (preferred)

  • +2 of professional corporate level industry experience
  • Or a combination of education and higher level industry experience
  • Exhibited a high level of English verbal, reading and written comprehension
  • Strong communication skills as team lead / facilitator
  • Experience in data entry at a high level of proficiency and accuracy
  • Excellent typing skills
  • Individual contributor who thrives in establishing a new function in a growing department
  • Disciplined to deliver high quality project schedules and reports

Authorities: 

 

  • Works with Manager oversight
  • Provide interface to assigned Suppliers
  • Collaborate with internal ESA/ESL organizations to identify solutions 
Consulting Relationships
  • Site Operations to include, PP&C, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering
  • Corporate Affiliates

 

Qualifications

Minimum Education:

Bachelors Degree Required or 3+ years equivalent experience may substitute

 

Certifications/Licenses:

Preferred: Certified Internal Auditor

 

Experience Required:                                                              

Functional (Using Skill Set): 1- 3 years

Industry:  Entry Level

  • Ability to travel up to 30% - U.S. Passport
  • Ability to read Blue Prints, Engineering Drawings
  • Strong interpersonal skills with excellent written and verbal communication (Technical Writing experience a plus)
  • Problem solving, analytical, and process improvement skills / experience
  • Demonstrated knowledge of quality management methodologies such as:
      • Six-sigma, Lean, Kaizen
      • Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) and Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)
      • Control Plans
      • ISO-9001/AS-9100
      • Quality Management Systems
