The Desktop Support Technician Level 2 is to maintain and monitor end-user workstation and productivity on local area network. While also performing a variety of maintenance, software installation, end-user support and training tasks to ensure workstations and networks are within company standards.
Responsibilities & Tasks:
Education (Highest Level Required/Preferred): Associates or Bachelors degree is preferred.
Specific Degree Field, only if required: Information Technology or Computer Science
Training Pre-requisites (Within One Year of Taking Position):
Preferred: A+/Network+/Security + - CompTIA Certifications
MCSA – Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate
Functional (Using Skill Set): 3-5 years
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required (Unique and Measurable):
Secret security clearance is preferred. Ability to obtain Secret clearance is required.
