Overview

We are looking for a year round intern starting Spring 2018.

 

Elbit Systems of America Fort Worth Operations is a world leader in the design and manufacture of defense electronics.

 

Responsibilities

Responsibilities & Tasks:

  • Open and close service orders in Enterprise Resource Planning System.
  • Track progress of assets in the repair process and communicate to Sustainment Project Managers.
  • Report any problems in the process to the Project Managers.
  • Check incoming RMA requests to decide warranty status of incoming returns.
  • Ensure Service Contracts are entered properly in the system.
  • Maintain system integrity by removing duplicate orders from the system.
  • Assist in preparation of customer status reports.
  • Walk assets through the process to ensure on time delivery.
  • Support any program when necessary from induction of repair asset to shipment.
  • Work directly with department Planners and Project Managers.
  • Work on defined tasks under close supervision by departmental management.
  • Participate in internal meetings to coordinate work with other team members, as requested.
  • Assist in preparation of monthly Earned Value reports and billings for specified programs.
  • Work with Program Planners and Cost/Schedule Analysts, assists in the creation of project budgets and links to critical milestones for new programs.
  • Assist in the development of the processes for consolidating and analyzing the financial results for programs.
  • Help support accounting in preparation of monthly closing reports.
  • Other related duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

We are looking for a year round intern starting Spring 2018. 

 

Minimum Qualifications:

 

Education (Highest Level Required/Preferred):

High School diploma is required.  Must be attending an accredited university or college.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required (Unique and Measurable):

  • Good attitude essential for team-based working.
  • Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment.
  • Must be highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges based on the level of education attained.
  • Willingness to submit to a drug screen and successfully pass.
  • Willingness to submit to a background check.
  • Microsoft Office knowledge.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Works well with people a diverse group of people.
