Directly interface with end-users of the Integrated Fixed Tower (IFT) system in various Border Patrol Stations C2 Centers located in Arizona to provide real time support on Elbit’s Border Control Application and system IT and system hardware as required. This individual will assist CBP agents with issues, working closely with our IFT Deployment team to support the IFT Block 1 upgrade and perform monitoring of system health, log review, to keep IFT system functional during the upgrade.








  • Provides tier two support to end users for either PC server or other software applications.
  • Interfaces with help desk to initiate help tickets for support to resolve end user issues.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, monthly system maintenance checks.
  • Interact with software, systems, IT engineering, and/or applications development to restore service.
  • Interact with network support services to identify and correct problems.
  • Simulates or recreates user problems to resolve operating difficulties.
  • Develops ability to make recommendations to reduce user problems and improve help desk process.
  • Maintains current trends and high level of technical skill in field of expertise.
  • Escalates more complex problems to appropriate IT, engineering and/or management personnel.
  • Support IFT CLS team to maintain deployed systems as required.



Minimum Qualifications:

  • Experience or familiarity with electronics troubleshooting of PC workstations, servers, radar systems, camera suites, and microwave communications desired.
  • 4 or more years Hands-on Electronics Troubleshooting and/or IT Experience
  • Some working knowledge of:
    • Microsoft Server OS
    • Windows 7
    • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Knowledge of data processing terminology, symbols, and methodology
  • Knowledge of record keeping.
  • Ability to operate information systems to collect data
  • Ability to diagnose hardware and/or software problems
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Ability to conduct training and informational sessions




Minimum of 5 years IT Experience or an associate’s degree in Information Technology from an accredited school with 2 years IT Experience required.          


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:

  • Based in Arizona
  • Must be U.S. citizen
  • Must have an active DoD Security Clearance or have a favorably adjudicated DHS background investigation (SSBI) prior to commencing work
  • Able to travel frequently to perform work at various Arizona locations
  • Able to work weekends and/or 24/7 shift work
