    Responsibilities

    This position works closely with multidisciplinary teams in a dynamic work environment contributing ton EO system proposal development, research, concept development, design, manufacture, integration and testing of advanced EO sensor imaging systems for Missile Warning Systems (MWS), Degraded Visual Environment Systems (DVE), Man-portable (Handheld Targeting Systems - HTS, Eye Safe Laser Rangefinders - ELRF), Helmet Mounted Displays (HMDS), Night Vision Cueing Displays (NVCD), and Vehicle Mounted Applications (Forward Looking Infrared - Flir, Eye Safe Laser Rang finders - ELRF).

    The candidate will work hands-on with both internal and external teams to support the development and transitioning of E-O products from concept through to production. The incumbent works in a team environment on design, development and research projects, and in the preparation of technical proposals.

     

     

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's Degree in engineering (Optics, Physics, or similar) with 2 or more years of experience, preferably in a design-to-manufacture environment. Incumbents should possess a broad knowledge of electro-optics engineering with specific capabilities in areas such as optical design, imaging system development, laser systems, radiometry, or optical metrology.
